Like any other school, my school has it's own history.
The school that once was called SM Taman Bandaraya has changed to SM Bukit Bandaraya.
It's located along Lorong Ma'arof in Bangsar.
Early in 1985, the pioneer students were temporarily placed at SM Sri Pantai.
The total number of students was only 140 pupils, not including the form 1 students who were placed at SM Bangsar.
A year after that, all students were transferred to the new building of SM Bukit Bandaraya.
Since that year, the number of students increased to 226 pupils, 486 pupils and it exceeded to over 1000 pupils with 54 teachers.
In 2009, there were 1166 students, 78 teachers and 9 staff. Last year, there were 1213 students,77 teachers and 17 staff.
